beautiful photos!

can you describe your rig? what sort of camera? lenses? housing and strobe info? what sort of post-processing do you do?

Hi Patwa, te camera is a canon 70d, the housing is a Sea&Sea, canon 100 mm macro lens
Two Sea&Sea Ys D1 strobes

I shoot in raw and process with Lightroom 5

thanks.....is your 100mm an f2.8? ...do you use both strobes simultaneously? or alternate?

I've got a Nikon D200, Ikelite Housing, a single DS125 strobe (gonna get a second one for my next trip and upgrade both batteries).

I used a 100mm F2.8 and found it exceedingly tough to use!.....it was suggested a 60mm macro would be more practical.

any tips on how you got such decent shots on the 100mm would be welcome!

(I also strictly shoot RAW and use LR5)

Hi, yes , the 100 mm is a 2.8. I use two strobes simultaniously. You need to use both strobes At the dame time to avoid unwanted shadows. Anyway, for macro one strobe could be enough

In my experience 100 mm is not difficult yo use. You can take the same picture as with the 60 mm at a higher distance, which is better in order not to scare the animal

do you use a focus light?

thanks again...will have to give the 100mm another try, I guess!

Ys I use a focus light always with the 100 mm, anyway ir is not always neccesary.

Good luck wuith the lens!

The diving place is Anilao, not very far away from Manila. I did not dive in other places around
