This is a shot of the front of the new one, you can see an outline of the overflow box behind the blue background.

This is a shot of one of 3 2" Durso Drains

This shot shows the Dog Door i installed so i can pass the pipes out to my patio for the chiller and refugium. I replaced the hard flap with lexan that i will drill to size. I went with a large door in case i ever want to use it down the road for my 2 Golden Retrv.

This last shot from today is today's project...it is the rear of the tank connecting my 3 2" durso's to 3" drain pipe...Had bad luck with one end...cement dried before i could straighten a fitting..had to spend another $20 to redo one side:mad2:

does it still have a center brace in it?that is such a nice tank with the externaloverflow and wavebox cutouts.sweet sweet tank

we went with added strength by doing 2 braces instead of one center one.

Project for the upcoming week is to start on the return, refuge, and chiller plumbing. Next weekend i tackle the lighting...Because the top lifts at the middle, i need to install cross braces to support my DE fixtures opposed to attaching them directly to the lid. Obviously if i did it that way it would be easier, but i give up being able to lift the lid.

All 3 pieces, tank, stand, and canopy had to be custom made due to the 27" width.

I'M LOOKING FOR SOME1 TOP BUILD MINES I HAVE 600 GAL TANK

my last one.... i bought like 8 months ago it just started changing..
then i add a sohal with ich..... then i lose the sohal and my emperor i was so mad :(
the emperor was only like a inch and a half long when i got him. he had grown to be a little over 4 inches
he was one of the main reasons i upgraded to the 150

Looks like another graduate of the John Reiter School of Aquarium Design. That overflow gives it away =]
My tank has the same sweet overflow and Durso setup, best design around IMO. Good purchase!

Thanks for the compliments...be glad when its all transfered. I learned today i need to lift the tank up and put styrofoam under it for leveling support....time to call my buddies back up!

Big day today....today i fill it with tap water to make sure it holds:eek1:

I will drain it tomorrow and finish the plumbing!
