Right now it takes up 1/2 of my 75...upgrading to a 125 in a few weeks to make room for it all!

it's about 11-12" when it's fully extended...i've actually only had it about 6 months. There was a very nice guy in our club who has the mother (twice as big) and two smaller 10" stools, so he was great to give it away for free ;-) it's grown about 2" since I picked it up from him so it's another reason we're going to a bigger tank.

LOVE the look!! And the toadstool!! I had the same questions haha! We just picked one up from a fellow reefer today, but its much smaller. We were hoping to find one about 10 in, but it'll grow! I think its about 4 in now. Everything looks great though! Awesome pics!

The husband is in the process of building the stand for the 125...we have to many frags and corals to fit in the 75 so it's spread throughout the 75, his 72 and a 54 corner frag tank. Looking forward to the space in the 6 foot tank!

haha...thanks! We still have more frogspawn & hammer in our frag tank but not enough room in the 75 to put it all. I'm using the current extreme pro 6 bulb fixture with ATI bulbs, very happy with it, we keep LPS and SPS just fine with it. We've had such success with it we're going to continue using the same configuration when we go to the 125...we were debating going to LED's but we're going to wait.

if you dont mind me asking what are you dosing? are you using bio pellets or any low nutrient?
i have been using bio pellets and my lps just dont do anything... i am considering quiting them... maybe its pellets, or lights or too much flow...but my lps just dont do well and no growth or die....

I don't dose bio pellets. I've found my LPS do much better and grow faster with slightly "dirty" water. The only thing i'm dosing right now is 3 part from BRS.

looks good. I'm cycling a 33g and am hoping to have a nice LPS tank soon. It'll be my 1st reef tank so I could use some guidance. I'll make a thread when I add my first few pieces.

haha....that's awesome StaghornE! We had several frogspawn that were almost that big but we must have fragged them about a dozen times over the last year. This is the first time we're going to let them grow.
