Saw my emerald hanging out next to my zoa frag. I don't think they liked him because they all closed up.

Here is a pic of the first fish I bought. Also the water looks a little green. Any ideas as to why?

It might be tainted slightly yellow. This can come from the die off on the rocks, bacteria, and amazingly enough phytoplankton. Water changes, activated carbon, and a UV Sterilizer will clear it up quickly. Ozone will work too, but that can be a little expensive.

It has a very slight green/yellowish tint to it. I always thought it was because I have normal output lights on it. I just tested the water and everything is reading 0.
 
I don't think it would be from NO bulbs....unless they are really old....I'd throw some carbon in the sump. I bet that would clear it right up!
