Some pictures!!

The one thing that sticks out to me is some of them are slightly underexposed. Getting your exposure on the money and the correct white balance will bring in contrast and colors.

+1. I suggest removing marine snow as well. Really gives an image a cleaner feel.

I like the first shot of the tang. And the Echinoderm, though I would probably have pulled the focal plane forward a bit to accent the spikes.
 
So exposure you want me to keep my lense open a bit more?

Or up your ISO. Or enlarge your aperture. Any of those will add more light. Your call.

Shutterspeed, ISO and aperture are the holy trinity of exposure. Knowing which to adjust when, or rather, the impact on the image of adjusting each, is part of the art of photography.

Increasing ISO can add noise. Increasing aperture will reduce depth of field. Longer exposure time (shutterspeed) risks introducing motion blur.

well I dont have an editing software so i cant get rid of the marine snow. These pictures are straight from my camera.

Thanks for the advice I'll give all that a try and put up more pictures!
