Some Plumbing questions

I'm working on a tank with the dimensions of 34lx22wx22h. Roughly 70g.

I also have an OM Super Squirt for closed loop circulation that will most likely be powered by a Pan World 50PX-X (1110 gph).

My questions:

What type of drain should I use for my drain to the sump? Two 1-in drains or a single 1.5-in drain? I'll probably use the Pan World 50PX-X as well for the return pump. I don't think I'll split the return into a T, just a single return point. Will that be too much flow through the sump? Will Pan World 50PX (590 gph) be better?

Do you guys think this is enough flow for a mixed reef tank (the closed loop and return)? Enough for SPS but not too much for lps and softies?

If my plan looks off please suggest how I should run it or if I need to get more/less strong pumps.

Thanks

Bigger drains = quieter drains. I'd go with dual 1.5" if you have room. You never know.

Be careful about generalizing flow needs with catagories that don't really mean much in regards to care (like "SPS"). Nothing likes flow better than leather corals.

If you create a lot of flow without a lot of velocity, everything will be happy. You may want to consider an overhead manifold for your return to help acheive this.
