Some Questions

Ok I am thinking about getting a 29gal tank and wonder if this will be ok for a carpet if it is only going to be the carpet clowns and some corals if not what are some aneomes that will host percs and occelarris because those will be the type I get a pair of (one or the other). My other question is if I get one orange and one black of occ. or perc. will they pair up and spawn?

these are a couple questions that are asked very often. A carpet can easily outgrow a 29 tank, but could also be perfectly happy. You really need to have sufficient lighting and filtration to handle the large influx of nutrients from feeding such a large anemone. That means lots of live rock/sand, a good skimmer, and a very light fish load. You also should have the tank set up and running for a good 6 months with no detectable fluctuations in water chemistry before you try to keep an anemone. You can set up the tank and add the clowns as soon as the tank stabilizes (cycles), but try to hold off for the anemone.

All combinations of color morphs of A occelaris and A percula can and have been paired and bred. A few quick searches on this forum should bring up hundreds of threads covering the subject!

Thanks for the info I currently have a 20 long that has been set up for about six months that I am going to transfer to a 29 yeah I know not a big difference my lighting is currently 130w of pc is this ok with feeding for an aneomne I like the carpet because of size and color but have also thought about a rbt will occelaris and or percs. host in a rbt.
