Circulation is extremely important in an SPS dominated tank! I have almost 5000 gph movent in that tank and sometimes wonder if it is enough?

Thank you very much! Yes, the green birdsnest started off as a slow grower but then it kind of just exploded. I have to frag it frequently to keep it of it's neighbors!

looks great mark... i see you are running 10ks... i am toying with running 10ks instead of od'd radiums.

those xm10ks when new, do they start off yellow and go whiter or vice versa. I plugged some xm10ks in and they look really yellow. Of course anything looks yellow after radiums, but these look really, really yellow.

Thank you! I change on average 10 - 15 gallons per month ususally (apx 5 gallons every 2 weeks).

Thanks! Long time no talk! Without the actenics the XMs definitely seem a little yellow but I have always liked the yellow look so it doesn't bother me. I seem to get good color out of the corals so they definitely aren't as yellow as iwaskis! How is your tank doing?

I guess i just need to train my eyes to accept 10ks again after running 14k then 20ks.

My tank is well. Corals are outgrowing it and it is pretty densely populated, but doing well. I just cant leave well enough alone and wanna play with the lighting again.

That is all part of the hobby! If you ever got the lights just the way you wanted them you would probably get out of the hobby!
