Some shots of my reef

What kind of additives are you guys using ?

I'm using some things from Prodibio: Bioptim, Biodigest and ReefBooster. I feed my animals haevily. To remove waste I added a skimmer (Bubble Master 250) several months ago and I do water changes more often than an average aquarist (every week).

Lunar, you make no mention of calcium supplimentation. How is it you keep your parameters stable?

What salts are you guys using?

TOTM vote!

I used to have a calcium reactor and dose limewater (kalkwasser) for many years. I changed my method two years ago and chose Balling method for supplementing calcium, magnesium and other minerals and maintaining carbonate alkalinity at natural seawater levels. When it used correctly all levels remain constant. This method for large tanks has one disadvantage - it's quite expensive.

Salts: IO earlier, Preis later and Marine Envinronment now.:)

Super nice tanks..thanks for sharing! I love the colors your get with that lighting fixture! I am thinking about switching to T5's instead of MH..just because the colors seem to POP better with T5's

That's right.

My previous tank had 2 x 175 MH and 4 T5. Then I moved and changed the tank and lighting. I noticed that corals grew faster and their colors weren't so poor at MH lighting, but it's only my opinion.
Here is my previous tank

What is this "balling method" that you keep mentioning?

Oh and by the way, super nice tanks, I really love to see the T5 arrangements rather then Mh which seem to be so prominent here in
Canada. Thanks for sharing, your corals look beautiful. What fish and inverts do you host in your tanks?

I find it truely amazing that this hobby knows no borders.

Cheers
Steve

Beautiful tanks indeed, you have my vote for TOTM, without question. Great job, way to represent Poland! :)

it formed a small confusion because of Lunar posted pictures in my thread - if you could, please write, who do you asking about aspects of tank - Lunar or me? - especially Servo and Reefsahoy.

Szymon, why your tank of course! And IMO, your tank is well deserving of TOTM. While the link is bad, there is no vote thread in the Reefkeeping Mag forum.
