t5 - is good to change them twice a year, intensity of light goes down even 30% at 6 months
zeospur2 mixed with coralvitalizer - like I said - it's just experiment stage, i've used it twice, in 1\3 dose that KZ recomend. no before and now pics - but colors of some corals became distincly brighter and stronger. You have to carry on, because zeospur2 is really strong stuff and if overdose, can send your corals to another world
sump and equipment pics - not yet (in TOTM if I get), but You have to be sure , that is simplest system, that You have ever seen - instead all that "equipment rooms" - I'l never understand what is all for

Beautiful tank Szymon.
The amazing colors shown here and on other European T5 lit tanks like Lunar's and Iwan's show us the true potential of T5s. They are particularly well suited to "tuning" the spectrum and providing a very even light coverage onto the corals.
IMO/IME, the large percentage of bulbs (60+%) that Szymon dedicates to the blue/actinic spectrum is the reason (along with excellent stable parameters and flow) that makes these corals glow. What this spectrum of lighting does is maximize fluorescence and this is what gives the jaw-dropping "pop" effect to these corals. Szymon also has the other parts of the spectrum present with his other bulbs as this is necessary for both growth and to avoid a "washed out" look.
Great job, definitely TOTM quality!

I've noticed this as well, though Iwan doesn't run anything other than 1:1 ATI Blue Plus: ATI Aquablue special. Both of these bulbs have a huge spike around 450nm, whereas most actinics are spiking around 420nm.... I was shocked at how many actinic/blue bulbs Szymon is running, can't doubt the results though..
I voted Szymon for TOTM... WELL worth it!

after i saw your tank and especially your lighting combination i fell in love!
the same day i changed mine also to be as close as your and i thin i achieved it by adding one arcadia blue(but it's almost purple).
i was working by the rule of half and half before(3 white +3 actinic) but you changed it!!
now i'm
front to back 6 t5's x 39w.tank is 55g,50cm deep
arcadia blue
narva actinic
narva actinic
arcadia white 15.000 k
glo white 18.000 k
narva actinic
in the next few days i'll be getting a korralenzucht and some giesman aquablues!
