7thheaven - now the lamp is 30-35 cm above the wates surface - it give the "one light effect', light from every bulb is mixed, not the "rainbow effect" when fixture is 5cm above
My Powermodule was frequently as much as 12" off the water surface because the light was too intense for the corals. This is especially important when acclimating new specimens. Sorry, Szymon, to answer questions for you, especially since you already answered it with the most important statement, "Corals will tell you what you have to do."<a href=showthread.php?s=&postid=13499407#post13499407 target=_blank>Originally posted</a> by 7thheaven
But Do you think its light is a little weak than 5cm?

I plan on using t5's on a 55 and really like the look your bulb combo gives. Any suggestions on getting the same look with a 6bulb combo?
