not to be nosey or anything but is your oveerflow box homemade? fkdenton and i are planning his new 150 and i like the style overflow do you have any plumbing pics to give us some ideas. his has to drain out the back and we have not drilled it yet. also is that a closed loop intake in the middle?

It is a leather.

The overflow box is homemade. I bought the tank used and the previous owner made the overflow. As stated earlier, if you click the red house, you will see many pictures of the plumbing. Let me know if you have any questions.

I read the build thread. I think we may copy your design with the overflow I will have to talk to Floyd. I like the stockman pipe. is it quiet? the noise is my main concern. he said it is going to be on the next room but he sleeps pretty close to the room it is going in and the sound of running water would make me have to go the the little boys room all the time at night.

what is the size of the overflow box and how much flow is going through it?

thanks for the help

I'll have the measure the overflow box. I don't know off hand.

The standpipe is "fairly" quiet. I do have some water noise but I think it is mainly in my drainpipe and not directly from the standpipe. It doesn't bother me so I haven't taken the time to correct it. It is 1 1/2" pipe.
