Some Various Instant Ocean Products - Input Needed

My brother-in-law, and a fellow RC member (we're both newbies) gave me a couple things he picked up.

I'm hesitant to add anything to my tank without doing proper research.
He gave me the following Instant Ocean products:

Marine Stabilizer
Reef Accelerator
Pacific Krill
Marine Chips

I've just been using standard Krill for my anemone, Rod's for the tank every few days, and some Spectrum for my little fishies.

Out of the bunch, I'm most curious about the reef accelerator, as I wouldn't mind seeing some more coraline algae.

The Reef Accelerator is basically a calcium supplement and the Stabilizer is an alkalinity supplement... think two-part. I wouldn't bother with them if you already have your dosings figured out with another brand. If you keep your Ca and Alk in the right range, you'll get coraline.

Do you plan on keeping coral or clams in the tank? If so, than you will need to dose Ca & Alk. I find a calcium reactor to be the easiest way to do so, but when the tank has minimal coral, dosing a two-part is an economical way to go. In your shoes, I'd use the stuff you have to get my parameters where they should be (Alk 8-11, and Ca 400-450) for now. For longterm daily dosing of 2-part, I'd go with a product like B-Ionic (if you want quality) or Bulk Reef Supply's (if you want quantity). The reason being that these are better products for the money, and I find dialing in a 2-part dose to be tedious. I'd rather do it once, rather than establish a protocol with one product and then switch it shortly after because the chemical concentrations are different.

Right now I just have hammer coral, frogspawn, ricordea, toadstool, and a RBTA and some fish. I do my testing on Sundays, so I'll check my levels and see where I stand.
