Someone ID this guy

I was told at fish store it was a fuzzy mushroom and it was about 4" in diameter, I really wanted it cause it was attached to a 30lb LR and it was going for 40 bucks, coral was cool too though.

About 2 weeks after I bought it and it grew double its size. The week after that, it split, now, about 3 months after I bought it, both are about 7" in diameter and there taking over the right side of my tank.

I feed these things whole lancer fish about once a week, I never heard of a shroom eating whole fish.

Someone out there knows exactly what this is, cause for sure its not a fuzzy mushroom. Im positive that the one on the left is starting to split again.

Fuzzy Mushroom or some like to call it Frilly Mushroom.

fuzzy/frilly mushroom...it only grows so fast and big b/c u feed it so much.

I had one, now I got like 6 or 8 of em, they do grow fast. Just for ref, the ones in my tanks that get really good light show up a really intense green, while the ones under lesser light or shaded are brownish like urs. If for some insane reason youd wanna frag em, you can slice em up real easy, pie wedges, halves whatever.
