Something causing skimmer to go crazy

Always bring a towel
My wife said my skimmer was overflowing, so I checked it out. Water was overflowing from my skimmer, and there was this brownish green stuff floating between the baffles of my sump. The only thing that I've done to my tank recently was dose .15ml of ZeoStart, and added a cube of Ocean Nutrition Formula 2. I don't belive that the Zeo would cause it, but could the food?

Image of the "snot" that was floating in the baffles after I gathered it up and put it back in the skimmer

I'd say the food would be the culprit. Whenever I add ocean snow my skimmer goes nuts just turn it off while feeding.

So, should I stop feeding it or am I going to have to turn my skimmer off everytime I do? If I'm going to have to shut the skimmer down, for how long?

Also what in the food would cause the skimmer to go mad like this?

No, do not skip the food. IMO, food is some of the cause, but the ZeoStart is the culprit. Some hobbyist, turn their skimmer off during feeding and cuts it back on about 30 minutes after feeding.

I dose ZeoStart 0.3ml/day split up between between morning and evening doses of 0.15ml, every day, and this happened when I added food that I normally don't. I usually feed frozen mysis or pellets, and it hasn't happened when feeding those with my ZeoStart. I guess, I could feed it again, and see if it causes the issue before I dose my ZeoStart.

I highly doubt that ZeoStart caused this.
