Something growing on the rock

I got a rock with zoos on it from the pet store and it has something blask growin on it. I dont know what it is but its kinda squishy. I'll try and get a pic on here.

I was leaning more towards the chicken liver. I meant black. Theres also some reddish brown squishy stuff on it too. If it is sponge is it bad?

Nope. Sponges are good, unless they live in Pineapples.

Could be a tunicate also. I have a blank tunicate in my tank.

Not bad to have, but not sure if it should be touching corals (mine's not).
