I would pull them out and do a dip in FW and Iodine.

Chances are whatever is eating them, is living in them. Maybe not but they are awesome and don't need to be lunch.

Do you have any fish that might eat zoas? If a hippo were to go rabid i figure it would eat more than just a small portion of the skirt. Just a thought.

I once saw my emerald crab picking at the skirts of some of my blues. He only did it that one time and I haven't seen him do it since. But I thought it was worth telling you if you have an emerald crab.

i dont know but are you sure they are being eatin? ive had sand polyps retract the skirt and look like nubs but the polyp is fully open. they can seem like they are eaten. they look pretty open and healty if theyve been picked on.

I'm sorry I should have noted that this is an earlier picture. I don't have any angels or any mithrax crabs, at least to my knowledge. They used to be the fastest growing, healthiest looking polyps, lately the just look like garbage. I'll pull them out of the water tonight and see if I can find something on the mat, and try a freshwater dip too. How long on the FW dip? Thanks for the help..
