Please help. something is not right.
I recently setup my cal rex, my alk was 9.5 dkh before cal rex and alk rose to 11.6 in about 7 days during the cal rex. I had turn my cal rex off yesterday to get my alk back inline before I retune my cal rex. Today, alk back to 10.6, cal ~420 mag 1350. I also notice today some thing happen and its weird
Not the flesh, the entire skeleton is receeding. My miami orchid skeleton receeded about 1/8 inch, exposing the rock under when it encrusted over. The base of the skeleton on the pink milli is lifting it self from the rocks. The tissues still there, but I can see it clear that the edge is not encrusted anymore. I understand alk swing will cause tissue and flesh peeling off, but my sps skeleton is detaching it self. Maybe I am panicking, but should I do a small WC (20)? or water change will further effect my sps?
