do you have any types of LPS? ive seen them spawn, there way to big to be shrimp, crabs, or pods of course. and im pretty sure those are not fish eggs, so i would say either a coral or anemone.

I have one small SPS, no LPS's except for one purple gonipora, one small clam, lots of zoo's and Ricordia, xenia, Mushrooms, 2 urchins, 5 shrimp.

my only suspect are the urchins

Its not urchins and I am almost 100% its not the gonipora

do you think it might be the clam then? i cant think what else it would be from what hes listed.

Nope, my clams have spawn before, I know how those look, I actually had my Squamosa release spern for like 1 hour last week.
I have one type of zoo type coral that looks diff. and also the goniopora looks kind of wierd, I am suspecting one of these two as well

yeah, im not positive, but IMO i still think its the gonipora. ive seen GSP spawn before, they release a small red egg, in mass quantities, but from the way yours look in the picture and the size of the egg, and what weve rulled out its the only thing left i think it could be.

the eggs that are in the cup have desintegrated into a million little specs, the ones that desitegrated in the tank are making the xenia go wild

The tank is starting to cloud a little, I may need to do a water change.....bummer! These are the other suspects notice the one coral was totally close one minute and open up the next.....this could be feeding too I guess.

that one you show closed up appears to be a very common species in florida waters, a type of encrusting zooanthid.

im a avid snorkler and diver and see areas compleley covered with them, i also have seen a few different colors, ranging from white, browm, a marron and even a yellow/bright green.

i would say its closed up from eating, ive had a piece for a few years and evey time i fed the tank it would close up.

well i see, never knew that before. pretty cool

and i wouldnt call it being bored exactly, more like understanding there is so much more for me to learn, and trying to expand my knowledge on the hobby, just giving my opinion, never said i was positive i was right.
