Something is sucking my LTA?
It is a big one. I found it all shrunken up and upside down this morning. Upon close examination, I found something on the side of its red foot. It looks like some sort of sponge or parasite? I think it might have been the inside of the anemone, because it kept coming out when I pulled it with my tweezers. Someone please ID so I can find out what to do with it.

Possibly a nudibranch? I would remove it.

It was about 1/4" and I pulled out about 2" before I stopped thinking it might be its own flesh I am pulling out.

Is the foot torn???? Did it run into anything like a powerhead??

No. Foot is fine. He has been archoring at the corner. Maybe a bite wound from a bristle worm?

Looks like tiny foot tears to me and that looks like the anemones innards that you are pulling out.

Can confirm. I see this alot on LTA'S. I think the distributors are a little rough with these guys. I havent seen many survive once this happans though. It appears the filaments are begining to extrude through the foot due to trauma, not necessarily a "parasite"
