Something is wrong with maroon clown?

I'm not an expert in disease so you can probably get a better answer in the diseases forum.

AFAIK even the most clown-specific of diseases, brook, can infect other fish and although it doesn't usually kill the other fish it can stay with the other fish until a clown is re-introduced and then infect new clowns. Ich is the same way. You can have ich in your tank but it won't hurt any fish and you'll never see it. But, when you introduce a stressed fish it will get infected and you'll see the ich again, even after a long time.

i cant catch my fish today *really upset* ive been trying off and on for almost 4 hours. they have things on theyre eyes agian...

Wait till tonight. have everything ready. I wated till it was dark and it was easy to catch them. Do yours host in a anemone? That how I got mine, scooped them right out of there once the lights went off.

I found out what the parasites were. They are Benedeniella Monogenean...Hopefully I caught them earily enough that they do not become a problem. Everything that I have read says that it is extremly hard to rid the tank of them once they get established. I would have to use copper in the main tank....not good, to many invertebrates for that. I guess only time will tell.

I dident want to have to put the fish in the reef after dark agian because there slime coat is gone and they'll keep getting stung.

Might not have an option. Ive turned the tank into a warzone, my skimmer is now shooting out billions of bubbles, and im stressed out. I can imagine how the fish feel so I put everything back and called it quits. for now. I only have till tenpm then Im leaving for a week. Its my last shot.

Odd... Many people wonder about the bubble tips in btas... Mine doesent usually have them... well, it got a net abused (lightly) today while I was trying to catch the maroons and it has more bubbletips than it ever has. Just an odd thing....
