Something's wrong w/ my 7094

I realized that my 4 tunze pumps weren't running this past weekend. So I checked my 7094 controller. I noticed that the 'pump on' LED wasn't light up as usual. It's off like when you pressed on the food timer button.

I unplugged the pump cables from the controller, then all the pumps ran normal. but when I reconnected the cables to the controller then all the pump stopped, and the 'pump on' LED didn't come on.
I tried this several times. even turn of all the pumps first, then plugged in all the cables according to the manual, then turn the pumps on one by one... ==> the 'pump on' LED stayed dead, and pumps didn't run w/ the controller. So i have to run all my pumps w/o the controller now.

I tried to remove the 4 screws on the back of the controller to take a look inside.. but couldn't open the box since look like there was something inside that hold the two halves of the controller box together even w/ the screws removed(?).

Anyway, could I send the controller in for troubleshooting? Thanks.

The knobs have to be pried off to open the housing. I would suspect the foodtimer button either got wet and is shorted or it is stuck, I have also seen them break over time as the spring deteriorates. You can send it in if you don't feel comfortable checking it out.
