Sometimes I hate this hobby!!!!!!

Well after just getting my tank straightened out and think starting to look better. I noticed a slight leak coming from the intake bulkhead fitting for my close loop. So I said this will be easy to fix. Can you guess what happened next? That's right I broke the dam fitting. So I went from a slight leak to a stream of water. And of course the fitting at the bottom of the tank so that means I have to drain the whole tank, take all the stones out. Put as much as I can in the 75 gallon tank along with a frag's and fish. And hope I can fix this problem in the day or two.:mad2:

Plain and simply.....That stinks!

Anyway you can use some sch80 BH fittings? I use them...no comparison to a sch40 fitting.

Good luck.

thanks TA.

I guess I can look at it this way, if everything went the way you wanted all the time there'd be no challenge involved in the hobby. if you believe that I've got some swampland for sale in Arizona.:)

That makes for a real bad day, sorry to hear that. I had a tank leak on me before. I hope things work out better for you than they did for me. Good luck.

Yep leaks are the worst..... I feel for ya as I've had my fair share of "complete overhauls" that were nightmares to fix.

That said, once you've become a member of the " ARGH ! I HAD TO DO A COMPLETE OVER HAUL TO REPAIR THE BOTTOM BULKHEAD" CLUB ......

...you earn the right to give another reefer the "Nelson laugh".
