Hello, no build thread yet. For a tank size I am looking at 72x36x20 Rimless. Do you have a build thread on your setup? I would love to check it out. :)

Wicked dimensions:bounce3:

I was a bit scared to go rimless because here in australia anything over 1/2 inch starphire is too expensive. ended up with a small eurobrace.

Been a bit slack on my thread but tank should be ready in about 3 weeks.

please let us know when you have your new thread going. Maybe I can copy some of your ideas:dance:

Wow, thats quite a project you've got there. Good luck with the setup and please keep the pictures coming. :D

Oh, and add me on Xbox Live so I can whip your butt in a few games: Sonny M63 ;)

Interesting progression from the old Rimless:

No doubt about it, T5 can grow SPS. Here is my old Rimless, 13 months apart:

And 5 months after that:

Very nice growth. Progression pics are always cool to see. Looks like your doing a great job. Those corals are getting pretty big..a tank upgrade may be a good idea after all.

sonny can you please give me a break down of the total number of fish and what they were u had in the system before you broke it down?

HI,Have already started shortenning light to shine on time according to your suggestion
I will just ascend a picture a week later
In this period, MB7, does vodka and CoralAmino still need to continue to add?
Feed on SPS,Be just CoralAmino and then can attain?Or need some another foods?
There is concretely good SPS food that recommend to me?

Excellent. My only recommendation is to feed the fish more food to aid the corals. Keep dosing everything as as you were.

Hey Sonny, how many pounds of sand did you use in the rimless reef? I plan on using the same sand in my aquarium, since it looks so good in yours. I also like the depth at which you have it.

Thanks!

man I would have had a very hard time taking that down. That last pic is just fantastic Sonny.

Isn't that something. Here we are trying to get our tanks to look half as good as this and he's tearing it down to make it better:)

You two are too much!

My next tank will be my crowning achievement......my masterpiece!! Especially now that the biz is launched and I have access to so many nice corals!

40lbs of Caribsea Seaflor Special Grade. :p

Sonny, You had alot of fish in your tank. I think I am having a hard time with overfeeding. I like to feed my corals through broadcast feeding 3x a week with a mix of

Color boosting pink pellets
Cyclopeeze
Mysis
Brine shrimp
Reef bugs

That is the mix that I use 3x a week and i try not to overfeed but The mysis is mixed in with that mix so I tend to overfeed cause my fish love the mysis, especially my large dussemeiri tang.

I also feed spectrum pellets at least 2x a day and I feed fresh well rinsed mysis at least 1 cube 3 days a week.

I know I am overfeeding, but I love to feeds my fishes!:) They get so happy. I just recently about a month ago added a Kole tang and a few of my corals have browned out lately because I think I overfed during this time because I wanted to make sure my kole was eating and healthy. All is well but I am having poor PE and color on only a few of my SPS corals. Could you give me a reccomendation on feeding?

1x Yellow watchman goby
2x Ocellaris clowns
1x Pygmy angel
1x Kole tang 3inches
1x Dussemeir tang 6" rougly
1x sixline wrasse
1x chromis

75 gallon tank with 20g refugium and 30gal sump (half filled)

Big blue thinks that he's a shark now. This guy is hilarious. I have had him for almost 10 years now, and anyone who tells you that a fish cant make a good pet needs to come and see this guy. He actually lets me pet him,
