dust settling?? im amazed how you are willing to move everyhting around so much

I have been quite bored with the tank as of late and needed a challenge. I wanted to get into a larger tank but I cant justify the cost of the tank I am looking to get into. Its the summertime and I would rather spend the $ on a couple vacations.

So for now the tank could technically be called Rimless Reef 2.0 since it was technically restarted.

Can't wait to see the new design Sunny..

How do you find the powerbrites with the T5's, are they powerful enough to give good shimmer when all your lights are on?

Hello,

I get decent shimmer from the Powerbrite, but it really depends on where you place it. IF you place the Powerbrite directly under your fixture then you may lose the shimmer.

2. I think you are still doing Randy's 2 part, but are you using a dosing pump or do you administer the supp's manually?

Anyway bro.Sonny, are your acans bleached from the ULNS system or it's just the camera phone video's fault that they look a little bleachy?

Hey there Sunny, long time no talk. Took a break from the hobby for a bit, but setting back up. Your tank is definitely in the top 5 on RC (at least for my taste). Awesome work man, congrats!

so Sunny when you rescape like that do you just chop your coral off of its encrusted base or break up the LR. i have been wanting to rescape for a while but have been held up by the logistics and fear of cutting my colonies away form their bases... how did you do it?

your new aqua scape looks great by the way.

Thanks. The acans are a little on the light side in terms of color but not as light as the camera shows. I'll have some new pics up soon for reference.

ha ha. I'm an sps guy and always will be. I have added about 20 sps, some in the main tank and others settling in the frag tank.
oh and the only reason the lps received a close-up was due to the fact that my sps are chopped up and healing. with the extra space I'm gonna be sps dominant once more.

what I did here is a mixture of methods. I fragged what i could of the corals and used the bases of the coral attached the the rocks as the reef structure. With other corals I simply fragged the corals and placed the bases and attached rock in the frag tank. I took out at least 9 good size prices of live rock in order to create the new look.
