I just bought a sony dsch1 I also bought macro lens for it and would like to know if anyone has had any luck taking good maro shoots with this camera. Thanks

I have the same set-up. I can get a decent pic as long as your subject is close to the glass. Still can't focus on anything in the middle of the tank, with or without the macro lens.

Do you have a bow front?

Not a bowfront, just a 180 rectangle.

Do you have any pics you can share with me? Also have you had any luck with white balance under 20K lights? Thanks!

Yeah it's hard to get the true colors with the 20k. These are obviously way too blue. Surely there's a way without using any post picture retouching.

Yeah, I've used a white paper plate under the lights to set the white balance. Need to try the different settings on the dial, M,A,S,P. Have you had any luck with yours?

Some Luck but I am getting better. I been shoting using M seems to me that white balance works best with M setting for my tank.
