Hello all!! First a quick update on my Tear!!!

Update:

DOING AWESOME

OKay, and now for the awesome news..... It's my birthday this week Friday, so I'm expecting all of you to send me corals and clams:D

Just kidding...

Anyways, my parents are taking me and my friend to Indiana to pick up some supplies for my dad's business... And after we are stopping by Harbor Aquatics (harboraquatics.com). I have been there before and her livestock is marvelous... The clams are gorgeous... Well!! My parents will let me pick out a clam or two or a coral or clam, and my friend wants to buy me a new clam as well.... Totally insane.. 3 new maxima's or crocea's!!! DROOL

Thought like sharing and will update with some pics... My friend hasn't sent me those pics yet... I'm going to go punch him in the face now...

Thanks!!

Will your parents adopt me:D ?
Sounds like it will be a great birthday. congrats. Mine was September 9th

Haha.. Awesome.. Happy Birthday!!

Well it's a birthday present so I guess it's nothing really special.. If I wouldn't get something for the tank, it would be something else!

My brother just moved to New Albany down by Louisville. Where is Harbor Aquatics? We are already planning a weekend run to Premium Aq, so that may be something to consider also.

Keep us posted,
David

Nice. Harbor Aquatics is a fantastic place to purchase clams from. All the maximas are Marshall Island farm raised. Healthy, beautiful and disease free.

Marshall Islands sounds scarry I head bad things about their wild clams.

Lebowski==leave some tear drops to the others!!!

Now seriously, post some pics of the new clams, good luck.

I want to post pics of my clam!!! My freind already took pics, but hasn't given them to me... I've called and talked to him and he's being a dork about it so I'm going to try to find someone else to get me my pics.....

( Teens these days )

Anyways, Vili_shark, I have purchased clams from Harbor Aquatics before and they are all living and super healthy... No problem's whatsoever.... They aren't WILD remember...

FWIW, The Marshall Islands are by far the absolute best source for healthy and beautiful farm raised clams.

i agree i love the marshall island clams. very good quality. lebowski i cant wait to see the new pics!!!!

Hi,
I dont have a clue about Harbour Aquatics, I never bought from them, and I'm sure they are good, if so many people are happy.

About Marshall islands.
I heard of people that got sick wild clams from there.

I dont know anything about the Cultured clams from Marshall, I also heard they are good, but dont have experience with them.

My clams are from Solomon Islands or from Indonesia

Not true. I've never even heard of wild marshall island clams being sold anywhere.

Marshall Island's farm raised clams are the most tried and true, and frankly the BEST farm raised clams available anywhere at this time.

A lot of very repuatable dealers such as (Sea Dwelling Creaturs (wholesaler not a dealer)), Harbor Aquatics, clamsdirect, ORA and many many more dealers buy their clams from ORA (who's clams originate via marshall islands farms).

thats awesome lebowski, make sure to post some pics of your finds, and if the owners at harbor aquatics will let you, take some pics of their shop i would love to see it.

Alright cool, I'll bring a cam along.. I'll have to develop then scan the pics... But I'll take pics of the clam and my teardrop while I'm at it....

hey lebowski, happy birthday for Friday..

It was my birthday Wednesday and I got a nice 3" crocea :-) and a tuxedo urchin..

clams make excellent birthday presents :)
