Sore on Blue Green Chromis

Not sure what kind of sore this is. It was kind of hard to get him to hold still but was able to get this pick with my phone. The fish is not acting any differant and is still eating. Was wondering if it was cancer. Any help would be appreciated

Could just be a cut and/or an infection. If multiple "sores" start popping up, then it's probably Uronema.

Thank you. Yesterday it looked like it was a cut. Then when I got back from work tonight it looked some much bigger wasn't sure anymore. Thanks again

If it is getting bigger, my guess will be uronema. I had a chromis die of it...followed shortly thereafter by a mystery wrasse. Hopefully it isn't uronema; a fallow period for the tank won't get rid of uronema.

It grew fast what ever it is. If its uronema I best be getting him out of the tank soon correct?

Good luck I had chromis come down with uronema and it killed every fish in the tank very quickly.

Yes, being that Chromis are very prone to Uronema and it is so deadly; I would get him out of your display ASAP.

Do you have more than one chromis in the tank? They tend to beat on each other unless they're kept very well-fed.

DO you have a pistol shrimp? They can do damage like that. Or it could be the aforenamed infection.

I've had this same thing happen to me in that past all I can say is it didn't end well. If I was u I would remove him asap. Good luck
