SOS!What happened on my turtle grass(Chlorodesmis)??

Last night,I was check my aquarium then turn the light off before I go to bed.Everythings was be alright.
I have two turtle grass,This morning I'd check my aquarium again,the one of them turns been white(just like the photos that I attached) and another one just be okay.
Can anybody tell me what happened on my turtle grass and how to save it or prevent the situation like this??Is that normal?

That does not appear to be turtle grass. That appears to be a filamentis algae. Turtle Grass is a vascular plant that has roots, a stem, and leaves. Also, Turtle grass requires a very deep sand bed, at least five inches deep. Good nuitrients and very high lighting needs. I can take a few months for turtle grass to become established with a solid root system.

oops...........I think here is a big mistake that I made.
I Just wondering probably it's called "Turtle weed" or "Maidens hair Algae".'cuz I can't make sure the common name in USA.

The pics are of Chlorodesmis fastigiata ... aka "Maiden's Hair Algae" and "Turtle Weed."

This alga does sporulate (... "go sexual" ...). A white/greenish/"milky" discoloration of the tank's water is usually produced by this alga's reproductive behavior.

If water discoloration didn't happen, then what you've observed is tissue degeneration (... it's in the process of dying as a result of damage, shock, or inadequate environment ...). This alga grows best with strong lighting, strong current, and regular iron supplementation. Other factors could include physical injury from collection/shipping/handling, temperature shock, and salinity shock.

Thanks mesocosm,
But I still don't know why my turtle weed turns white that unexpectedly.
I'm just wondering ,probably the PO4 or NO3...etc makes them
white.
I have two stocks of turtle weed.firstly, the one of them is died and I kept another one (the green one).The green one is under my watch during past few days.Unfortunately,the green one just GONE in yesterday. BUT,there is some new little tiny turtle weed's baby attach on the foundation rock .
So,does physical clock(or creature clock??) makes them "do sporulate" even they stay in a steady enviroment have no salinity shock,temperature shock....etc??just because the "time"makes them changes??

I have the same stuff

And periodically it gets real tall (grows on a rock) and then it all turns white and dies off. Mine always grows back again over and over. You should start to see some new growth in about a week.
