After trying unsucessfully to fix a leak in the return piping I've come to the conclusion I need a pro- someone who knows how to install overflow and return piping. I've got dual overflows and need to have the 4 existing pipes removed and replaced with new ones, and maybe add PVC piping underneath too.
If anyone has an recommendations on who does this work I'd appreciate it.

Whats the issue? Maybe one of us can help you on the forum. If not I know of a couple of service guys on th board...

The issue is both of the seals around the glass/ return line leak. The reason I feel they can't be fixed is I've tried to expoxy the entire seal area where the leak is, but it still isn't fixed. Probably due to moving the tank the seals were broken and instead of trying to fix I figure putting new plumbing in would be a certain way to resolve the problem. So I still would like to have someone replace all 4 pipes and know it's done right.

One thing I learnt when I did my plumbing is that the rubber gasket of a bulkhead need to be placed on the side of glass close to the end of bulhead (not the threaded side), or water will leak through the thread. I used to place the gasket on either side, and found some leaking, some not:(. Don't know if the you have the same situation, thought I will share it here.

What size bulkheads are they? You could just drain the tank below the lowest one, remove the old bulkheads and replace with new ones just in case the old ones are cracked.. If you don't want to replace the old bulkheads you could just try putting new gaskets in. Make sure you clean the old one off really well....

Actually is it leaking from the piping or from the connection between the glass and the bulkhead?

I think the holes in the glass are 1" and 1 1/2". The overflow pipe is 1" and the return is 3/4" ID diameter. The leak is from the gasket in between the glass and the pipe. The pipes are at least 8 years old, I've epoxied one and I figure if I'm going through the hassle of having someone do the work to replace the gasket I might as well replace the other pipes as they're old and may fail down the road. Plus the extra cost for PVC piping isn't that much. I just can't imagine draining the tank sometime later after I get it filled with sand/ rocks/ corals, etc.
