SouthDown Natural Play Sand

Maybe it's not in such "high" demand up there? Don't know, it would just be guessing at this point on my part. Bottom line is if you can get this stuff, you will be blessed with many frags! At least on my part!

Well I was just told thatanother member tryed ordering the sand and they said that HD had some sort or non-competition clause with another company. I think it may be Carib-Sea, but caribsea is wholesale only. and you can get caribsea all over the country.

I'm going to try to slide it through.....Black Market style....

I was reading that if the bags are trandf.ered from anoth HD it "MAY" be 10.50 a bag. Let me know if your still interested at 10.20 a bag.

BTW these are 50lb bags.

Per the Old Castle company the place in the carribean that makes the sand has or is going out of business so Old Castle is no longer able to get it. Their play sand is not as white but makeup wise is the same per their sales rep. So she says that it is okay to use in your tank. So if you can find the carribean play sand at home depot better grab it while you can. I have compared the two and the regular stuff really isn't that much more beige so I would use it. Plus it is easier to get. Hope this hleps.

I just spoke to the HD manager he is going to try to have it ransfered here....he is supposed to call me when it goes through. How would you wanna organize this?? we may have to prepay for it 1st. ANy Ideas?

Did you empty your Sent messages? Also, make sure the "Show messages from" box is set to "The beginning".

If you still can't get it to work, PM me your email addr.

This is not a bust, I will be placing an order very very soon. I will notify everyone who requested bags of sand by PM this week. So keep checking your PMs. Once you PM is recieved please confirm the amount and reply. And I will get back with you ASAP to confirm pickup and payment.

Hey, I said I needed some sand but since I am NOT getting another tank, I will not need any. I will probably pick up a bag or two from the other thread here in the ORCA forum, so I don't have to wait.

Thanks,
Mike
