Spaghetti worms. Can they overpopulate???

I have what seems to be many hundreds or these little buggers in my seahorse/mandarin tank. They come out in masses when it is feeding time. They don't seem to bother anything, fishes or corals. Leave them alone or what? Thank you.

They're good detrius / scavengers...doubt they hurt anything
