Just wanted to share some photos of my 75g reef tank. About a month ago I moved my oceanic 30g sump to the basement and incorporated a frag tank under the stand. I wanted to be able to keeps the frags with the main tank in view so people could see the larger corals and then look at them in the frag tank. This way they don’t have to go down to the basement.
The frag tank is a custom made 22 long tank with 4-24†T5’s over it. The main tank is light by 6-4 foot T5’s.
The tank is mainly SPS but has some zoo’s and mushrooms in there too.
I do bi-weekly 12 gallon water changes with either Red Sea Coral Pro or H2Ocean salt.
I dose Prodibio Biodigest and Bioptim.
I also dose Zeo Coral Vitilizer, Amminos and Sponge Power.
The tank is skimmed with an MRC1 skimmer ran by a mag 18 pump!
Top off is done by an aquamedic top off pump from a 5 gallon reservoir I keep kalk in.
NO UV is ran on this tank or Ozone either.
I feed a mixture of mixed food every other day of cyclopeeze, shrimp, clam and squid this is homemade and frozen roughly every 5 months.
