Introducing a new breed of ORCA member...

"The Reef Riders ..."

This Motley crew set off last Saturday for it's first group ride over to the Tampa Aquarium. What a blast we had. Yes it was a tad bit warm... but at 50 mph on country back roads we managed to stay comfortable. And the scenery was magnificent as we cruised down through lower central Fl out to Tampa.

With Road Captain Nick aka "Fuzzy", at the lead we made good time and arrived safely at the aquarium by lunch time.

For those that haven’t been out to the Tampa Aquarium yet, I highly recommend the visit. They have done a very nice job of displaying a variety of marine reef systems, all which look clean and well maintained. Figure it takes about 90 minutes to walk through if you take your time. And there's a huge ocean reef display room with rocking chairs where you can take a nap and dream of building that gazzillion gallon reef tank in your living room...

When will the Reef Riders ride again..? Soon I hope. We had way too much fun. If you want to join and ride with this degenerate band of reef keeping hoodlums, stay tuned for news of the next upcoming ride...

I never thought to actually wear MORE riding gear... usually when I ride I only wear a fish-net thong, sandels and a soup bowl on my head...

Yeah, well thinking about it won't make it happen.

And a soup bowl will probably do just as well as the helmet you're wearing now.

I'm not going to touch that discussion........
