spear and clam

any one ever keep a spear with a clam?
whatcha think? too risky...

most spearers are fish and shrimp hunters, i doubt they will go after a large clam

I had a hippocampus clam in with my G. Grapherus until i moved. Never had a problem, but the clam was MUCH larger than the mantis. According to Dr. Roy some mantis will bother clams so its a hit or miss situation.

well the clam i want is about 2" and blueberry is about 4" long.
