Hello all.... I have been out of the hobby for awhile and was starting to miss it. My wife let me buy a fluval spec v and I thought I want to try a fw planted setup with it but I just wasn't that into it. So I bought about 10 lbs of Fiji dry rock from Bulk Reef Supply and got to work. The tank just recently finished it's cycle and I will be slowly stocking as I can afford. Let me know what yall think and any questions, constructive criticism or suggestions are welcome. Thanks for looking.

TANK- Fluval Spec V

LIGHTING- Par 38(looking to upgrade when I have the funds)

FILTRATION- Stock spec v filtration as of now with 5-8lbs Fiji live rock

CIRCULATION- Stock return pump (will definitely be upgrading the return pump or adding a hydor nano soon)

We'll unfortunately my phone won't let me upload a picture. When I figure out what I'm doing wrong I'll post a picture.

I was curious from other spec v or nano AIO tank owners what kind of upgrades have been made to the filter section? As far as what media you are using or upgraded/ diy media racks. If anyone has anything to share it would be greatly appreciated.

I use the media basket made by in-tank. I have matrix media carbon bag and foam padding also upgraded the pump to a 606 and added a small wave maker.....
