Hello live aquaria lovers!

I know I don't post all that often, but I wanted to share something with you fine COMAS folk. . .a thank you. I'd like to thank Doug, Josh, George, Bill, Jacob, tpdPercula, and any others that have taken time to help share information in this hobby. That is for both help online as well as in person. Whether it's fraggin, purchasing, trading, whatever. . .you guys are top notch and I wanted to share what a pleasant surprise it has been to meet all of you.

You guys have been ever-helpful and I think we all appreciate that!

I would like to say that I've been busy during every COMAS meeting evening (for months) or else I would be coming out. While that has been a disappointment, I'm still getting a membership for this year! Yay!

I also want to thank you guys! There is a great group of people here who share a common intrust. Thats not found very often. I have had a blast trading and buying things from you guys.

Thanks for the mention, Blake.

Speaking for myself, I am just "paying it forward", because like you described, I received hours and hours of advice and assistance from my mentors in the hobby...

As one example, I had nineteen COMAS members and friends come out for my tank move in June. I was floored by all the support! This truly is a great group of folks...

I am very happy you are joining COMAS for 2010 and hope you will be able to find a way to squeeze in some meetings in the coming year.

19!?!? That's quite a number! Indeed, a helpful, nice group we have here. If anyone else has a story or a message for someone, feel free to share it here.

It is the holiday season and all! :wavehand:

well, i truly would have been forever lost with out ed's help and support. he's had my back when i screw up/ or jeri calling to fix what i screwed up and offered sound advise, time. i think i have learned more from him than i ever did in school.

You're giving us too much credit. You bribed us with smoked meat and beer. Not only free smoked meat and beer, but MORNING smoked meat and beer. Who turns down Morning beer when they have a justification :)

This group of people is a great resource. The concentrated knowledge here has got to be a rarity in the hobby, especially when you look at the generosity that comes with the knowledge. I'm sure I'll still frequent this board after my moves because of that very reason.

The only reason it was morning ribs and beer was because the well-oiled COMAS team got done so early! I figured we would be there all day, and heck - the fight was over by 10:30 a.m.!

You are very welcome Blake. Let me know if you need anything else. I have had help of others in the club. Glad to pay it forward.
