Specialized feeding

Could somebody please point me to a good source of info on specialized feeding for clowns? I have a True Percs who gets mysis and flake but I'm interested in feding him some different foods. Things like feeding garlic have got me stumped. I'm not about to toss little pieces of minced garlic in my tank but I'm not sure how else to go about it. Hence this post.

Thank you.

Kent makes a garlic soak for marine tanks, so you might check into that.

Also, I've heard a lot of people feed Cyclopeeze to their clowns, as it has a lot of the nutrient that gives them a rich orange color.

Cyclopeeze is amazing for colour. My clowns were light orange before, now they are a really deep red/orange since i started using it. Also try them on veggie flakes which they love.

i put 2 cubes in a container with a lid. put a drop of garlic from kent on each cube and 2 drops of selcon on each cube, let it soak 10 minutes or so.. add tank water, let it defrost...

then i drain out all the water (alot of unwanted oils from the food) the re add tank water, suck some up with a turkey baster, turn off the pumps and feed. ill use the same container that night, then start over the next day. cubes vary.. marine cusine, emerald entree, mysis 2 diff brands, reef plankton.. some cyclopeze...

Ill feed em a lil flake between the two feedings. and depending on how many fish in your tank 2 cubes may last longer than a day!! store in fridge in tank water

The key is variety. I like to feed cyclopeeze, spectrum pellet, ORA pellet, a quality flake with greens, frozen cyclopeeze, frozen mysis & ocassionally frozen enriched Brine shrimp. I also soak all of these foods in selcon.

do you guys use dried cyclopeeze? right now i feed formula 1 and formula 2 flakes....every once in awhile they get some mysis or marine cuisine. i have some frozen cyclopeeze, but it's kind of expensive, is the dried good as well?

frozen is way better than the dried
