Spectrapure 90gpd ro/di?

Hello everyone,

I have the spectrapure 90gpd ro/di system and its time to replace the filters. I know what I need for the RO part of it an found cheap alternatives at places like bulk reef supply.

But my question is regarding the two DI cartridges that spectrapure refers to as MaxCapâ"žÂ¢ DI Cartridge DI-MC-10 and SilicaBusterâ"žÂ¢ Mixed-Bed Multi-Layer Deionization Cartridges DI-SB-10.

Are there cheaper alternatives to these two cartridges. I saw refillable options but do not know if those perform the same task or not. Can you please help me out.

Basically I am looking for alternatives to the spectrapure maxcap di cartridge and silicabuster di cartridge

I just swapped out my filters for the bulk reef supply kit. A "paper" filter, then 2 carbon blocks and only one DI resin.

Is that a good way to do it? Im not sure, i will keep you informed!
