spider like strings

i have these spider like strings in the sump of my tank.what the heck are they.there on the lower end of the rock on the bottom of the sump.thanks for ur replys.i know i dont have a pic but i was hoping some 1 could answer it for me anyhow.

Possibly spaghetti worms, could also be vermetid snails. A picture would help.

no,nothing like that.they stretch out from the rock.i wish i could put a pic on.

if they r spaggetti worms r they harmfull to the reef.

Not at all. They are collecting detritus for you.
