Spider Sponge Safe For Seahorse Tanks!

Is spider sponge safe to put in a seahorse tank or will it sting them.I am not sure because it has zoo like polyps coming off of it.thanks.

i know a few folks who keep them in SH setups, altho sponges can be tricky due to their flow requirements.
