Does any one have any problems with getting water on the single ended bulbs (mogul) or in the connections.Or is it best to have a sheet of glass in front of them?

Hi KEP

I would definitely avoid water splashing on the bulbs or socket.

You don't need to have glass...but the bulbs should be about 10" off the water if you aren't going to use any.
