Splitting instead of growing

I bought one small captive bred anemone and after 5 months, feeding it every 3 days it decided to split.
The problem is the size, the old one can only host a small clown now, and the new one is too small to host anything.
How can I make the anemone not to split again and just grow to a nice a big one?

I don't think you get to decide what it's going to do. Mine is splitting for the first time, and I've had it for 2 years.
