Splitting return to feed Aqua C EV180

I'm plumbing a 215 gallon with a single 1" drain. I'm afraid the blue line 55 I want to use as the return will be too much flow for the drain. Can I split the return and feed a good portion of that into a EV-180. I know the aqua c needs the pressure so I'm thinking this may work. What do you all think?

If you can get it just right it might. From my experience, AquaC EVs need that perfect pump most of the time.
