Splitting zoa polyp update

I posted this polyp, or should I say polyps, a few days ago.

As you can see, the polyp in the center frag is splitting.
Here are some updated pics of it.
My snails got a little rough with the frag, and knocked it off the rock. So, as you can tell, I had to put it on another rock.

Wow, Shane. I want to see if they split or just keep growing that way.
I've never seen that before. After your first posted I checked out over 1,000 zoa heads I have and none have double mouths. Please keep us posted on that as it's fascinating! Did you get any feedback on the other forum?

Good eye. Yes they are. They have a little growing out to do first.

Marcye the post didn't get much attention in the zoanthid forum, or at least not the last time I checked.

They just started growing one day.

It hasn't split all of the way, but it is getting closer. I will take some pics, and post them later tonight.
