Calfo and Fenners's book on inverts refers to it as a Leucetta species.
Google search produced the I.D. tethya wilhelma or spiky ball sponge! Funny huh?
Either way it filter feeds large amounts of water. May indicate high nutriant levels. I think they are cool to have.
