I got a very nice tree sponge yesterday.
I know they are not supose to every be in the air. I got it in the tank safe and sound got a good water flow going by it. Today I noticed tiny air bubbles on it. I don't understand why or how they are getting on it. I am asumeing that it is not going to be good for the sponge either. I took the fish net and moved the water around to get them off of the sponge but tonight there are more air bubbles. I only have one power head in this tank, and right now I have it so it blows on the front glass and as the water bonces off the glass it will flow by the sponge. Any suggestions as to why the bubble are apearing on the sponge, if they will hurt the sponge or how to set the flow ?
