Sponges for angels

Has anyone grown sponges just for your large angels? I have a Mac and will be getting an Asfur (seperate tanks) and would like to culture sponge to supplement their diets. I don't even know if this is possible so I am looking for a staring point.

Good question, I have thought of doing something like this but haven't put any real research into it. Will be following to see of anyone can provide any helpful feedback

I know a guy who harvests them off the pilings at the marina and freezes them. But no, not growing them.

Thanks for your comments. I want to experiment with this. If no one has experience doing this than I will have to learn on my own. The concept doesn't seem too far out of line. I also need to find out what types of sponges angels eat. Back to researching......

hello everyone i want to go with some angels in my big tank its a 538 gal with 125 sump . im going to be selling all my corals and going with these asome looking fish , but what i was woundering if somebody could tell me how many and what types i can get so they dont kill each other :hammer:
