Spot feeding sps

Does anyone here do so? What do you use and how often? I've heard mixed reviews of different things (ie phyto, cyclopeeze, snow, zooplex, etc)

I dump in oyster eggs regularly. I currently have very few fish and I think my corals would starve if I didn't feed something other than pellets.

It isn't really spot feeding though, I simply pour it next to the powerhead.
