spot on my clown

This suddenly appeared this morning with no warning. It looks like its a little sponge. Its white and fuzzy. Any deas.? You can see my tank parms below.

I guess the pictures arent good enough I did something wrong. I cant get the pictures any bigger. I cant even resize them in photobucket. Ill keep trying

ok I got the picture to work. can anyone tell me what this might be?

It is hard to tell from a picture, even a good one like you have posted, without seeing this totally close up, but try looking up something called lymph

It may very well not be lymph but if it appears raised and kind of like when an egg boils if there is a crack- a tiny bit of eggwhite leaks out and looks funny?

Otherwise I'd almost say its a cut from a rock or something or a bite ... looks clean though no redness or anything.

Strange it would appear overnight.

Those are a few things to think about I guess, sorry I can't help more but its one of those you really need to see in person to really be able to tell but hopefully I've given you some things you can either confirm or cross off the list

Thanks Chrisstie. Thats a perfect description of what it looks like. Ill just keep an eye on it.
And she did have what looked like a small wound in that same spot a few days ago.
